SILHOUETTES-2

“O rising Sun, so fair and gay,
What are you bringing me, I pray,
Of sorrow or of joy to-day?”

“We’ve always sought temples and towers to build;
Shrines to our selfish ambitions fulfilled,
Constructing our own little stairs to the stars,
Convinced of how clever and God-like we are”.
